Ranjith ‘Sam’ Rosenberk, Ph.D, P.E., takes his responsibility as an engineer seriously; it shows in his credentials and desire to further his education to serve the public. Sam, a Ram Jack employee for nearly five years, received his P.E. (public engineer) licensure May 21, 2014 after passing the exam in April. After earning his master’s degree in civil engineering, Sam continued his education, earning a Ph.D. in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He specialized in geotechnical engineering.
Sam provides engineering service to our dealers and third party engineers. “It has been a great learning experience to design and evaluate the performance of helical piles in general,” said Sam.
He performs sensitive field load tests to determine compression, tension, and lateral capacities of helical piles. He was involved with the process of obtaining ICC recognition for some of our standard products. Additionally, he was also the lead in upgrading and designing the new online version of the Foundations Solutions™ software.
His future goals are to refine helical performance through finite element modeling in addition to studying the ground improvement effects of helical piles under seismic conditions.
